FORTINET SUPPORT

Is there anyone here who is actually happy with Fortinet' s support? I' m having a terrible time with resolving ANY problems with them. No follow up. No knowledgable staff. No response. You name it. This is the worst support experience I' ve had with any single company. And I' ve dealt with many. I dont understand how they' re still in business. I wouldn' t trust these techs to work on my toaster! Anyone who thinks I' m being harsh, let me know and I' ll share a ticket with you. It' s VERY easy to see what I mean.

I totally agree what you said~ Usually my ticket would be *read* by around 20-30 fortinet ppl, but *NEVER* got any response!! If someone ask me how to find the support of fortinet product, I would suggest them to register an accouont here and search for help first~ This is the most faster method~

Which one of the 3 Technical Support Centers do you fall under for tehcnical support? I know that as I am in APAC region, the Technical Support Center in France won' t even give me the time of day. I don' t call the one in China at all. I physically call the Support Center in the US and they have given me great help each time; even helped me find a faulty switch switch the first time round!

I don' t know about other support centers but the one in France is one of the worst I ever experienced. Their answers are coming late, don' t address the issue directly but rather tend to be general. Looks to me like level 1-2 support. However I also found a couple of helpful people there but unfortunately for me it happened only 2 times. The rest of the tickets/bug reports I' ve posted were closed without a usefull resolution so most of the time I am left frustrated by their lack of interest.

I completely know what you mean, for support, but I think the product and how good it actually is, is why it sells.

I am also in techsupport hell right now myself. I decided to go through the web interface to open a ticket. 4 days later and my NBD hardware contract still hasn' t kicked in and I am still sitting here with a dead firewall. My next step is to call into the center(s) and see what can be done.

The tech support is terrible. But the product is awesome. I cringe everytime i think I have found a bug or something doesn' t work the first time. What is the direct # for the US support? Nick
