Hello I have installed the Exchange Server 2003 lately but trying to access the emails from outside the network but when I test the Account the Log Onto incoming mail server (POP) is not chen not showing any error and when trying to get the inbox the 0x800ccc0f error appears What options to choose so that this error never come back ?

Sorry forgot to tell I have FG60b and the OS on it is the latest one available

Hi, google for 0x800ccc0f error code shows that there' re no communication between your mailclient and pop3 server. So, you should elaborate a bit your post showing your FTG60B config settings, virtual IP , policies etc to the forum, so people can get a picture and maybe help. regards,

well , yes i searched the web it has many possibilities but I need to make sure the Fortinet configuration isnt the reason the virtual is the static IP which directs the pop and the smtp to the internal IP of the mail server and here is the scan profile configuration I read that it was some times because of something related to the firewall signature checking

You´ve posted at first:
trying to access the emails from outside the network
so, you need appropiate firewall policies WAN1->internal for POP3 service; do a search within http://kb.fortinet.com for Virtual IP and you' ll obtain some working examples for this and future situations regards,

yes man I know pop3_server wan1/Server' s Static IP 110/tcp 192.168.0.1( Servers Internal ) 110/tcp smtp_server wan1/Server' s Static IP 25/tcp 192.168.0.1 25/tcp

the from outside to inside is correct I am sure seems the services themselves were stuck since resetting them solved that issue Thank You all
