Hi all,
I need some help configuring my FG to transport multicast IP-TV.
Setup: FG80E with 6.2.2
WAN: German Telekom VDSL connected via modem to interface "wan1" with sub-interface "TDSL" for VLAN tag 7. Subinterface "TDSL" is in zone "Internet"
In one of the internal vlans, I have a Windows PC and want to receive IP-TV, which is offered by Telekom via multicast, e.g. per address rtp://87.141.215.251@232.0.10.35:10000
I configured the switch to enable multicast, and I can see pakcets on the LAN side of the Fortigate:
113 2.294312 10.0.0.1 224.0.0.22 IGMPv3 58 Membership Report / Group 232.0.10.135, new source {87.141.215.251}
I tried nearly everything I found on the internet: enabling multicast routing, enabling or disabling multicast-forwarding, adding a multicast-policy from internal vlan to zone "Internet". But when I do capture packet on the "TDSL" interface, I cannot see any IGMP packet.
I enabled IGMP debugging on the FG, and can see a lot of include and exclude messages.
When I configured multicast-routing and a PIM on the interface "TDSL", I get
"NSM: [IGMP-EVENTS] IF Start: No valid IPv4 address on IFF TDSL"
Anyone who had managed to get MagentaTV working? Or has any hints?
Thanks in advance for any help!
Kind regards,
Michael
