Configure SMTP

Hi, My company has a fortigate 100e, and I want printers when scanning to send the document directly to email. I created an SMTP server, when I send a test directly through the server, it works, now when I go to the printer, it appears as sent, but it doesn't arrive in the email, have you seen anything like this? Does something need to be done on the firewall?

Something needs to be done on the firewall, if traffic has to pass over the firewall.  So from the very brief info you share, it's not possible to tell you the answer.

If your printers are on the same LAN (or internally routable between LAN segments) then the traffic isn't transiting the firewall. If it has to move between VLANs that the FGT owns, or the printers are on different networks all together, then yes you may need to add policies to permit traffic types.
