Hi,
I'm beginner at FortiWEB, but I want to deploy FortiWEB between az existing FortiGate and HTTPS servers. I'm using VIP policys on FortiGate unit, and I haven't got an idea, how to forward the external connections to FortiWEB. I think the good method isn't the VIP Policy... because If I want to forward two different external IP-s to two different internal IP (which are sitting int he same subnet) through the FortiWEB I have to define the FortiGate VIP address point to FortiWEB address and it shouldn't be working just one scenario.
Thanks,
Szabolcs
Hi Szabolcs,
It's a good approach for a first installation check documentation and examples available
The easier and straightforward way to configure fortiweb is in reverse-proxy mode (default)
You can get the picture in this step-by-step video
https://video.fortinet.com/products/fortiweb/5.3
(it's for an outdated firmware version, but your questions are answered there)
Obviously https://docs.fortinet.com/product/fortiweb/6.3
has everything to start with and more.
regards
/ Abel
Hi Abel,
I already read the documentation and watched the video, but I'm not closer... :( I want to use FortiWEB as a reverse proxy mode. Can you tell me which chapter is explaining the configuration in the FortiGate unit?
Thanks,
Szabolcs
