Problem in integration of fortimail in fortimail

Good evening

I have a problem in adding fortimail in fortigate

After I entered the ip address ,username, and password which I use to authenticate fortimail the red alarm shows "unable to connect"

How can I solve this problem?

You need to enable the REST API feature in the FortiMail first. Goto the FortiMail CLI and enter the following commands:

config system global
set rest-api enable
end

You should now be able to add it to the FortiGate.

Did you  do a any "diag sniffer packet <interface> 'host x.x.x.x'" and look for any 3way tcp session? You can also dump from either end ( FGT or FML )

After a long time troubleshooting
we find the cause of the problem
when we configured fortimail we changed the default HTTPS port number 443 to other custom port
so fortigate is set to listen to port 443 not other port
so when we set it back to 443 It works

Thanks all for your kind support.
