No IPv6 granted

Hi,

 

On my company's provided laptop, a FortiClient v5.6.6.1167 is installed. When I connect, I am not granted an IPv6 address. As a result of this, several internal sites are unavailable from remote locations i.e. home and/or customer sites.

 

What I find works *sometimes* is:

1. Disconnect (if connected to VPN)

2. Disconnect from the Compliance EMS for Telemetry

3. Kill the FortiClient

4. Open elevated admin prompt in Windows 10 and run DFCC

5. (re)add the Compliance EMS for Telemetry

6. Now connect to your profile and voila, dual IPv4 & v6 granted.

 

As I said, this procedure is *sometimes* successful in granting an IPv6. An IPv4 is always granted though. 

 

A few notes:

1. At random times, I get a pop up saying "FortiGate maximum licenses exceeded.

2. At other random times, the FortiClient reports not be in Compliance and unable to reach the Telemetry server(s).

I'm not sure if these are relevant points.

 

So guys what to do? How to fix this? The office IT people are just unable to figure out what's up.
