Looking using the web portal and bookmarks to allow users to access internal Remote Terminal Server (RDS) Desktops.
I'm having a lot of trouble finding any details on the number of web to RDS sessions a 60E or 100E are capable of handling at one time. The ONLY refrences that support has been able to provide is the number of SSL-VPN client tunnel sessions, which is not the same. The Forticlient SSL-VPN sessions are essentially routing packets. The Web portal bookmark to internal RDS server is building an RDS session to a windows terminal server and relaying the desktop to your browser on an HTML5 canvas. This is far more CPU intensive so I can not assume that a Fortigate 60E capability of 100 SSL-VPN sessions could possibly translate to 100 HTML5 to RDP sessions.
Anyone have more details?
Thank you!
