Hi everyone,
I was not sure where this thread belongs to so I posted it in this forum.
Our company recently started using FortiGate for VPN connections so if I as an employee want to access my schedule, documents or anything else I have to use FortiClient (if I'm not wrong?). Now I found out that it is also possible to access the VPN via the browser by simply tying in the server address. After logging in I can select a connection (HTTP/S, FTP, Ping etc). Which ever I select it cannot load the web page with the following errors:
- In Firefox I see: "Error: Secure Connection Failed"
- In Edge I see the error code: "INET_E_DOWNLOAD_FAILURE"
- Charles Proxy gives me: "Remote server closed the connection before sending response header"
As our IT support is not really good in responding to anything I would like to ask here if this errors are server side issues or issues I can fix on my local device by importing a certificate or so. If I connect to the VPN via FortiClient all the sites work but as this is really annoying for simple schedule checking I want to find an easier solution.
Thanks in advance :)
