FortiClient when tethered over a Project Fi phone?

Hello,

Does anybody have experience using FortiClient when tethered over a Project Fi phone? It works well for me if I tethered over a Verizon phone with Android 7.0, but does not work on a Project Fi's Pixel 2XL with Android 8.0. I can authenticate in the FortiClient and it shows connected status, however IP addresses in my corporate network are not available. Thank you
