Running a script against Global Policy

Hi,

 

Please forgive me if this has been covered before. I tried to search around before this post. Is there a way to run a script against global policy in FMG 5.4/5.6? The older documentation seems to say yes but I cannot find a successful way to accomplish it without importing into the root adom first and then promoting into the Global.

It is a little hard to find the first time you use it!

 

1) Enable Scripts in "Display Options" for Global

Tools >> Display Options: Advanced >> Scripts

 

2) Navigate to Scripts

ADOM: Global Database Object Configurations >> Advanced >> Scripts

Hey , 

 

Try this one and let me know if is working for you.

 

First check the current config by using below:

execute fmpolicy print-adom-package Global <package ID> ?

 

Once your script is ready you need to follow :

 

Global ADOM--->Object Configuration--->Tools---> Display Options--->Advanced--->Scripts ((need to be selected))

 

 

Create and then run(right click)
