Captive portal authentication for wired Domain and non Domain machines

Captive portal authentication for wired Domain and non Domain machines

Hi,   I want to configure captive portal authentication for internte access. control user access to internet by creating LDAP authentication Thing I've done so far 1.Create LDAP server (Test Successful) 2.Create user group (Firewall Type, FSSO groups and l choose my remote LDAP server) 3. In Network > Interfaces > Lan I> user groups l am only seeing the firewall groups and not the FSSO groups l have created.   could l be missing something here, kindly assist.

l'm running version 5.6.1

If you want to do LDAP auth then User group has to be Firewall type with LDAP as member (in GUI in Remote Groups table). If you haven't set FSSO Collector agent on your DC, then group cannot be an FSSO.

LDAP/RADIUS authentication is very different to FSSO. Do not mix those .
