Copper SFP not supported in fortigate 300D firewall

Hi,

Recently I trying to install the copper SFP in the 300D firewall. That connected SFP not getting up. I tried to different speed and duplex settings, no luck

If I connected the another fortigate product like firewall or AP its start to working.

If I connect a switch or Laptop module not getting UP. Even SFP LED indications also not blinking.

Am using fortios 5.2.5 build701

SFP: FINISAR Copper Active SFP (FCLF-8521-3)

Is this SFP is supportable for fortigate to other products?

Its very strange issue... I hope normally SFP module is in plug and play.

Please share do you have any idea about this case.

I had the same situation. I could only attach that interface to another device with 100Mbps. Just make a try.

That SFP module working in only 1G supported switches. We connected one more switch between firewall and core switch. It's started to work,
