When accessing the firewall using it's DNS-name we get an "internal error" in the left frame of the GUI. If we access the firewall using the ip-address everything is fine and dandy. 10.56.186.222 is the ip-address of the firewall. And that is the same address that it's DNS-name (vuollerim_fw1 and CNAME vuollerim_fw) points to.
Logging in using https (tried http as well with the same result) using it's ip-address [link]https://10.56.186.222[/link] = works! Logging in using https (tried http as well with the same result) using it's DNS shortname [link]https://vuollerim_fw1[/link] = Throws "internal error" Logging in using https (tried http as well with the same result) using it's DNS FQDN = Throws "internal error" I've tried this on previous 5.0 releases with the same result (think it was 5.0.6 and 5.0.7)
You should only need the CNAME if you are using a different alias for the FQDN. The CNAME points to another name, not the IP address....
