WCCP return paket

Hi all

I'm working on a WCCP Optimization with Riverbed. 

The WCCP it self works and the init paket from the client to the server are forwarded to the Riverbed (WAN Optimization) and send to the server. All good at this point.

But, the return paket are sending directly to the client. But, Riverbed need this paket as well, because there are exchange information between the local and the remote Riverbed.

In Cisco example configuration you need to activate the WCCP on the outgoing and incoming ACL.

How can I solve this issue with a Fortigate?

How do you have the WCCP built ? on a 3rd leg { Tertiary Interface } ? And what are you using for forwarding  GRE or L2. WCCP is straight forward for any WCCP client from fortigate side of things.

Hi

WCCP Client ist on a dedicated Interface connected. 

The WCCP configuration are follow:

config system wccp edit "101" set router-id 10.230.123.111 set server-list 10.230.123.10 255.255.255.255 set forward-method any set return-method any next end

And activated on the Interface and matching firewall policy with set wccp enable.
