I am trying to set up DHCP.
(REFER TO PICTURE)I didn't set up anything to L2 and sharer. because I want to use them like a hub.
L2(186) is same equipment. Fortigate that I am using now is a 3700D.
After setting interface, I set a DHCP Server in fortigate(interface>DHCP enable)
And IPv4 policy
1. LAN(port10)->WAN(port9) <=source:192.168.2.2~192.168.2.254, destination: all
2. WAN(port9)->LAN(port10) <=source:all, destination: port10
PC can not got DHCP ip. It shows ip address just 169.x.x.x
I am trying to solve this problem more than 10 days..
Is there something I have to set up?
What exactly is L2(186)? A switch? Would VLANs be enabled on it? Do you have DHCP snooping enabled on any ports? How is it connected to the fgt? (Port-wise?) Have you done any troubleshooting from the PC side, as in switching patch cables, try setting static IP settins on the PC, try direct connecting a laptop via patch cable to port-10 on the fgt to see if it gets an IP?

You may have configured it, but did you ENABLE it?
