Maintaining different model Fortimanagers

Hello, Our client has acquired a Fortimanager 200D to provide some redundancy for an existing 400A. Given that these two units can' t be clustered (different models), has anyone had experience with maintaining configuration databases between different models of Fortimanagers ? Can it be done at all, other than with manual sychronisations ? We really don' t want to go down that route. Regards,

Short answer is no, for proper HA you must have two like units. Sorry I couldn' t have been more help but that is the situation. Solution is to get either a 400A or a 200D (the latter is preferred as it' s newer tech) and form a proper FortiManager cluster.
