Log disk failure is imminent after MR4 R2 (fyi)

Log disk failure is imminent >> alert messages after MR4 R2 upgrade on a F400. It forced several and repeated system restarts. It appears the solution is to use CLI to run: execute formatlogdisk CORRECTION: I was too hasty. It did not eliminate the " Log disk failure is imminent" alert messages. It does appear the " Log disk failure is imminent" messages are sent exactly every 60 minutes from the restart time. Addendum: Talked to support and if the formatlogdisk failed to solve the problem, they suggested: " ...Go ahead with the format of the HD. Download the image. Follow the instructions and pre-requisite well. http://emea.fortinet.net/fortinet/iht/index.php Instructions on how to load the image are provided here (bottom on page): http://emea.fortinet.net/fortinet/iht/index.php Side note about instructions, the following KB info is helpful: http://kc.forticare.com/default.asp?id=340&SID=&Lang=1 Also, Step #9 don' t expect any other console output after >> mount /dev/hdbl on /var/log successful ! I waited about 5 minutes for a login prompt and then decided to perform a cold restart. I turned off the FGT and then turned it back on as Step 11 implies.
