Log disk failure is imminent >> alert messages after MR4 R2 upgrade on a F400. It forced several and repeated system restarts.
It appears the solution is to use CLI to run: execute formatlogdisk
CORRECTION: I was too hasty. It did not eliminate the " Log disk failure is imminent" alert messages. It does appear the " Log disk failure is imminent" messages are sent exactly every 60 minutes from the restart time.
Addendum: Talked to support and if the formatlogdisk failed to solve the problem, they suggested:
" ...Go ahead with the format of the HD. Download the image. Follow the instructions and pre-requisite well.

I waited about 5 minutes for a login prompt and then decided to perform a cold restart. I turned off the FGT and then turned it back on as Step 11 implies.
