FortiOS REST API documentation

Hello!

Currently we are looking to create an API with the support portal (device inventory).

To setup the correct API we need some documentation but the are behind the Developer Network.

Is there any way to access the link from the following documentation? We are not able to access the developer network.

It's about the FortiOS REST API documentation.

https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortigate-cloud/24.1.0/administration-guide/557024/api-access

https://fndn.fortinet.net/index.php?/fortiapi/1-fortios/

Best regards,

Tim

Hello @tim86  ,

Yes, you are right you need to register to FNDN for API documentation.  Unfortunately, there is no other option for API documentation.

You can register to FNDN. But you need 2 sponsors from Fortinet workers. They just need to approve your registration. Or you can buy fndn license.

If you have found a solution, please like and accept it to make it easily accessible to others.

Hi Ozkanaltas,

Thanks you for your reply.

We with to create an API to read the device inventory from the support portal. Therefor we need documentation to find out which API Calls to make.

Is there any other way to get access to API documentation?

Best regards,

Tim

Hello @tim86 ,

I'm sorry for that, but there is no option access for API documentation except FNDN account.
