All the logs showing gateway IP instead of public IP

Hi,

We are using fortigate50E with NAT mode. We are using multiple linux virtual machine under this firewall When ever any clients are accessing any services (ssh, apache, smtp) for each virtual machine its showing gateway ip 192.168.0.1 instead of clients public ip. Please let us know how we can create rule using GUI/terminal? Due to this issue we cannot analyze public ip address request in our linux virtual machine

hi,

please post the incoming policy 'wan' -> 'internal' (where your VMs are hosted). It sounds like you have NAT enabled which will translate the source IP to the interface's IP.

Wouldn't hurt if you could tell us which IP addresses you are using.
