The fortigate seems to be able to accept 64 char psk' s but the
forticlient (osx) only seems to be able to use less than or equal to 31
char (even though it will take a 64 char key). Am I missing something,
or is this the case?

difference. if this is not set for the portal, the user may not save
password...
the ' remote-gw' setting in phase1-interface config for the specific
tunnel and set the desired ip. you will also have to add that ip as a
secondary to the incoming interface. also, it seems that the secondary
ip needs a 32 bit mask to be entered...
